Scientific & Medical Network with The Laszlo Institute

Catalysing a Paradigm Shift

The word ‘paradigm’ was popularised by Thomas Kuhn in his seminal book structure of Scientific Revolutions in the early 1960s. Since then, considerable developments have taken place, for instance in complex systems and chaos theory, epigenetics and consciousness studies. However, materialist paradigms remain dominant within the Academy and resist any fundamental shift of worldview by ignoring or denying evidence suggesting that there might be a spiritual dimension transcending physical reality. The Scientific and Medical Network has been working at the frontiers of science, consciousness and spirituality for 45 years, and has this year been coordinating a project and producing a report from the Galileo Commission on the emergence of evidence-based spirituality and a post materialist science. Prof Harald Walach will be presenting the findings of this report. We will come together to discuss how best to catalyse a paradigm shift to a wider and deeper view across a number of disciplines.

Confirmed speakers include polymath Prof Ervin Laszlo, physician Dr Piero-Mario Biava on the epigenetic code and its different functions; a new vision of life and medicine,  cosmologist and healer Dr Jude Currivan on the Cosmic Hologram, psychologist Dr Nitamo Montecucco on a new paradigm on neuropsychosomatics, philosopher Dr Dietmar Rothe on a new paradigm for philosophy and consciousness, Prof Dr Harald Walach on an all-encompassing science and David Lorimer on transcending naturalism.

The Programme

The formal programme will begin with a welcome dinner on Friday evening and run through the weekend until breakfast on Monday. The programme will be made up of talks by confirmed speakers and on the basis of abstracts accepted.

Paper abstract:
Working With Patient Consciousness, By A Medical Intuitive MD

Health and consciousness have become separated in our current healthcare system. A physician for many years of both research and practicing experience, I describe how to utilize a particular state of consciousness in the healing arena. This is a process whereby the doctor can not only facilitate the bio- mechanical healing of the body, but can also be the midwife into change on the emotional-spiritual level.

This may be the realm of ‘spontaneous remissions’, and of intuitive diagnosis. The science and research to date embraces holographic phenomenon, in no way excluding other models, including non-locality.

Specifically, theory, tools, and methods for working with patient consciousness will be discussed.

The two principals below will be introduced for consideration…along with a clinical example:

’For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there I am among them’.

‘Wu Wei’, the Taoist principal of non-doing.

TOOLS to be discussed:

Presence; distributive Consciousness; shifting form singularity to plurality; changing perspective; coherence of brain hemispheres and brain-heart; coherence of therapist heart waves with both brain hemispheres; intent; allowing; resonance; inductance.

We’re inherently attuned to a quantum process and interpret/interface with these surrounding energies unconsciously on a daily basis. The scientific and biological/physiological basis of this, is that our bodies are regulated by and communicate through a light network on a DNA, cellular and enzyme basis. I propose that on an unconscious basis we interface with these light energies as well as those of the natural world, connecting to the light of the Earth’s magnetic field. Forever bathed in this energy, like fish in water, we are unaware of the currents and tides with which we interact.

We need to understand and consciously work with these energies, accepting the interconnectedness of our physical and nonphysical beings, and the resonances that can develop. In former ages, physicians recognized that true wholeness and healing could only be reached through embracing our own wholeness and acknowledging the innate interconnectedness of all things.

Dr. Jamieson will be speaking on October 5 (DAY 2: STREAM C), on Quantum light theory in our bodies-remaining whole and intuiting more, alongside these eminent presenters:
Sir Simon Wessely President of The Royal Society of Medicine will join Professor Clare Gerada MBE Medical Director at NHS PHP to chair the first day the following speakers are confirmed:

  • International Keynote Session: Mr Henry Marsh, Retired Neurosurgeon and Author ‘Do No Harm: Stories of Life, Death and Brain Surgery’
  • International Keynote Session: Why are Doctors in Distress? Dr Abigail Zuger, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, and Senior Attending Physician, Mount Sinai Roosevelt and Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospitals, New York City
  • Keynote Closing Address: Adam Kay, Writer, Comedian, Former Junior Doctor and Author ‘This is Going to Hurt’
  • The emotional impact of care: Professor Jill Maben OBE, Professor in Nursing, University of Surrey

Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in drop in question time and experiential learning and group work. We will leave time for networking at the evening drinks receptions. There will be a chance to speak to practitioner support groups and access resources to help you consider your own, and colleagues health and wellbeing needs and how these can be met.

Dr. Jamieson is on:

DAY 2: STREAM C: Resilience and Recovery at 14:55pm.

• True healing involves embracing our wholeness
• Health and consciousness have become separate in healthcare
• How the body’s subtle, quantum light energies work

Quantum light theory in our bodies-remaining whole and intuiting more.

The methodology of interpreting and interfacing with the light fields of doctor and patient.

We’ll discuss theory, tools, methods, focussing on recent scientific discoveries such as DNA emitting photons of light, enzymes controlled by light signals, and the heart the centre of the body’s magnetic radiation.

My premise is that without connection to the light field energy of their own hearts ( primarily compassion ) a physician will be pulled out of their centre and inevitably wounded.

Health and consciousness have become separated in our current healthcare system. A doctor of 30 years practicing experience, I describe how to utilize a particular state of consciousness in the healing arena. This is a process whereby the doctor can not only facilitate the biomechanical healing of the body, but can also be the midwife into change on the emotional- spiritual level, in former ages, physicians recognized that true wholeness and healing could only be reached through embracing our own wholeness and knowledge of the innate interconnectedness of all things.

We’ll focus in the area of ‘intuition’ in consultation : we’re inherently attuned to a quantum process and interact with these surrounding energies unconsciously on a daily basis. We need to understand and consciously work with this science as much as we do with physiology and anatomy.

From Medical to Mystical : An exploration into the world of light and colour

Modern technology is now able to reveal normally ‘invisible’ light patterns by the use of a camera, laptop and the application of specially designed computer software. By filtering gradations and patterns of light not normally visible to the human eye, this technology allows us to see the subtle energy around us.

Join Dr Jamieson and Ann Treherne as they know how  to explore these light energies and colours using the aura camera.  See your own aura, and how it changes with the various practical exercises that will be undertaken throughout this course.  Ultimately understand how to access to your own light energy in order to connect to our hidden resources…

From Medical to Mystical : An exploration into the world of light and colour !

Come along on the 6th and 7th of October for a unique exploration into the world of Light and Colour.

Susan is visiting The Centre from Hong Kong, where she lives and works.  As a GP she became aware of the light around a person and found that she could tell how a patient was feeling according to the quality of the light around them.  She has spent the last 10 years studying how light and colour impacts on the human body and it’s mental, physical and emotional well being.

An Investigation into the Unseen World with Ann Treherne and Dr Susan Jamieson

“Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was the UK’s most famous Spiritualist! This is the first time ever the centre has been represented in Hong Kong! Hope you can join the Chairwoman, Anne Treherne, and myself, who will be leading this workshop at the end of October!”

“Ann has developed cutting edge photographic equipment to capture energy transfers from healers, as well as ‘spirit’ energies around people. We’ll be doing this at the workshop.”
